Hello everyone,
Hoped everyone had a good rest by now and unpacking all your stuff to wash. I am sure it is very nice to be home. Do take the chance to share with your parents the experiences that you had in Shanghai. Well for us, it's back to work! Ha ha Mrs Lum and myself are gonna soaked in the stress to set exam papers.
At the moment I will find some time to share my reflection with everyone about this trip. For a start, I was really intrigued by this aeronautical trip and also wanted to see what Shanghai was like so I hopped on the trip. This isn't my first trip with pupils but in fact my 3rd. Each one of them was special in their own ways. The first had excellent chemistry , the 2nd was a little withdrawn perhaps due to the fact that I was going to the same place again and This was like a mirror of my teaching so far in school. Quite a lot of pupils in this trip were my former pupils or current pupils. Gi Ni, Beatrice, Hui Xin, Axl , Eadric, Niger, Edgar, Julian and Isabella. I had a chance to see how my pupils have grown during these past 1 year and 3 months. I really witness a huge growth in Eadric especially taking on various huge responsibilities. Not to mean that the rest of the pupils are not leaders in their own ways but just that I saw this batch of pupils grow over these past year.
Trips are always going to be unique simply because it is outside school and of course I get to see them and the way they are like "outside" school and their lifestyle outside school too. I hope that each and every pupil have brought something home with them from this trip especially those that cannot be found in books.
As for the pictures. I am in the midst of compiling them. Please be patient with me. Perhaps when school reopens, please allow your child to bring a thumb drive along to school and I can upload the pictures for them. Thank you.
