4th day in Shanghai

Today rain fell on Shanghai and it coincides with the visit to the outdoor theme park. Unfortunately some of the pupils did not bring their umbrellas. Not to worry we shared the umbrellas with one another. Today we visited the astronautic center and they gave us a lecture on the principal behind the making and launching of rockets.

It was followed by lunch and a visit to the theme park. As the weather was wet, we went to a huge aircraft carrier (which is made of rock) however all the items on the aircraft carrier were real! Then it was followed by dinner before the kids made their way back to the hotel to rest.

Well as we mention to some parents, some of the kids are tired already and we had a few kids oversleeping for the past few days. It's amazing how u shake them and they still won't wake up till we had to physically push them off the bed to brush their teeth! ha ha amazing isn't it. Dinner was a mini steamboat dinner where the children had to cook themselves ha ha its really funny how some pupils threw the whole egg into the soup without cracking them. I am sure in this trip there are many lessons learnt for them which cannot be found in books.

I shall leave you with these pics taken today. Not to worry parents, we will be back real soon.

Hi Mr. Low
Thanks for the daily update. Glad to see the kids so happy. Hope Axl is not too much of a handful. Why didn't they have this sort of thing when I was in primary 4? Also, please let Axl eat his fill of xiao long baos as they are probably more authentic and cheaper there. Should have sent Axl's mum and sister there too so the 3 of them will not bug me to eat so much in future.

Hi Bita
Axl is enjoying Brian's company too. They enjoy a game of chess when they are alone and Axl said he is very tidy (Axl can learn this definitely). Think they are a great pair and hope they remain great pals after the trip.

Axl, your parents & sister miss u over the weekend. Cool!
