Hello everyone, I would like to share with you more details about our immersion trip. I understand that everyone is very concern about the trip and we understand your concerns and as such here are some information.
1) Temperature at Shanghai : 10-18 degrees celcius.
2) There will be 19 Girls and 21 boys.
3) Astronautic Hotel.
4) Mineral Water will be provided daily.
5) Land transport via air-conditioned Buses
6) Pupils to prepare an exchange gift of not more than $5 dollars.
7) Departure Time : 10.10am (5th of March)
8) Arrival Time : 3.45pm (11th of March)
9) China Eastern Airlines




I understand that some parents are a little concern about the airline that we are flying with. As it is the March Holidays, air tickets are expensive and hard to secure. Quotation of the SQ flights are 100 odd dollars more expensive. While some parents have no difficulty paying , there is a need to keep cost down so that some will not feel deprieved from participating in the Immersion Program. The money saved can be used to buy garments for the cold weather.
As for the room arrangements, one of the girls room and one of the boys room will have 3 pupils each while the rest are twin sharing. This is due to safety reasons as it is not possible for pupils to have a room alone.
